How about instead of GE make a database in the server were you can just put up an item and price and sellers name
IE:
Rakalos is Selling AGS
Price 800m
Status : Unsold          PICTURE OF ITEM HERE
 
and all you do is contact the person ingame and buy, basically be like the forums market on easier to use ingame and be a database of selling and buy items
Same for buying only switch obviously
